High Level About the Role This is an entry‑level position designed for a motivated, detail‑oriented young professional who is eager to build a career in investment fund operations and financial services. The Analyst will join a small, high‑performing CFO Services team and gain broad exposure to the full range of back‑office and accounting functions that support both institutional fund clients and management company operations. Working closely with senior team members, the Analyst will develop hands‑on experience across accounting, financial reporting, cash management, budgeting, and operational support - building a strong technical foundation across multiple jurisdictions and client types. Reporting Structure The Analyst reports to the management team. Main Duties & Responsibilities Accounting, General Ledger, Administration & Operations Accounting, General Ledger & Bookkeeping: Perform day‑to‑day bookkeeping and accounting support at the management company level across multiple entities. Maintain and update the general ledger on accounting systems (QuickBooks / Microsoft Business Central), ensuring accuracy and completeness of all entries. Process and code invoices, expenses and payments in accordance with client and company guidelines. Perform periodic account reconciliations and assist with month‑end close procedures. Conduct bank reconciliations and investigate and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner. Support expense allocation across funds and entities in line with agreed methodologies. Operational & Administrative Functions Maintain organised and up‑to‑date client files, records and documentation. Assist with compliance‑related data gathering and filing requirements across jurisdictions. Support the team on ad‑hoc projects as the business and client base grow. Skills & Experience Required A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or Economics (completed or in final year). A minimum of 1 year's accounting or finance experience, whether through full‑time employment or a substantive internship. Strong foundational knowledge of accounting principles and double‑entry bookkeeping. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (including formulas, pivot tables and data formatting) and Outlook. Familiarity with QuickBooks or another accounting system is an advantage; willingness to learn Business Central is essential. Exceptional written and verbal English communication skills, with the ability to correspond professionally with clients and external parties. High attention to detail and accuracy, with a methodical approach to reconciliation and data management. Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise effectively and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment. A proactive, can‑do attitude and genuine curiosity about financial services, fund operations and multi‑jurisdictional business.
