ESG/sustainability is a continuously evolving landscape, and sustainability reporting requirements are increasing worldwide. We are expanding our ESG Business Development team to support our Convene ESG Software, which helps clients transition from standard compliance to next‑level ESG governance. The role is for a Business Development Manager passionate about ESG trends and data disclosure quality. Visit for more information. Responsibilities Provide day‑to‑day hands‑on sales execution, including marketing requirements. Build key customer relationships, identify business opportunities, negotiate, and close deals. Manage pre‑sales activities through product demonstrations, bid preparation, product pricing support, and realization of business plan targets. Assist the Sales team with ESG domain knowledge. Provide advisory to clients and prospects on ESG reporting compliance. Onboard clients onto our ESG reporting platform. Study ESG reporting frameworks and contribute to platform evolution. Develop and maintain a sales pipeline, pursuing leads within our CRM. Attend interstate trade shows, if required. Deliver customer presentations and proposals. Maintain awareness of legislation and best practices. Provide updates on sales leads to Senior Management. Qualifications / Experience 1–3 years of experience in sales. 2–3 years of ESG background. Strong background/knowledge on sustainability topics in key sectors (good to have). Ability to work effectively as a team player with multiple stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
