Key Locations Transnet Freight Rail (TFR) – Rustenburg: cargo transportation for mining and industrial goods. Klerksdorp Rail Depot – regional rail logistics and freight operations. Mahikeng Terminal – logistics and rail services. Potchefstroom Container Facilities – cargo handling for regional trade. Common Positions General Worker (Freight Rail) – loading/unloading cargo, track maintenance, and yard operations. Terminal General Worker – cargo handling and terminal duties at inland container depots. Maintenance General Worker – basic rolling‑stock and infrastructure upkeep at Transnet Engineering. Pipeline General Worker – support in fuel/gas transport network inspections. Yard Laborer – general labour in rail yards, shunting support and cleanup. Key Tasks (examples) Handle materials, clean work areas, support equipment checks. Open/close twist locks on containers and assist with offloading.
