We are looking for a hands‑on Electrical Supervisor to lead installation teams across a range of industrial and mining projects. This role is critical to ensuring that projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards, often in remote and challenging environments. You will play a key role in coordinating site activities, managing teams, interfacing with clients, and supporting project delivery from planning through to execution. Initially, you will be involved in E‑House builds at Cape Town Harbour, supporting a high‑impact project environment. What You’ll Be Doing Site Leadership & Execution Supervise electrical installation teams on‑site Ensure work is executed according to drawings, specifications, and timelines Coordinate activities across contractors and project stakeholders Planning & Coordination Plan daily and weekly work schedules Manage materials, tools, and equipment for each project Align site activities with project programs and milestones Client & Project Interface Attend site meetings and liaise directly with clients Provide regular progress updates and reports Ensure all site instructions are properly approved and documented Safety, Quality & Compliance Drive a strong safety culture on‑site (SHEQ compliance) Conduct toolbox talks and maintain safety documentation Ensure quality standards are met with minimal rework Team & Subcontractor Management Lead and manage installation crews and subcontractors Oversee productivity, discipline, and performance on‑site Technical & Commercial Support Assist with scope definition, BOQs, and quotations Support MV & LV installation design where required Coordinate material deliveries and control site resources What We’re Looking For Experience 4+ years in electrical engineering or construction 3+ years in a supervisory role Experience in industrial, construction, or mining environments Proven experience working on remote project sites Qualifications Electrical Trade Test or Electrical Diploma Registered (or willing to register) as an Installation Electrician Project Management training (advantageous) Skills Strong leadership and team management ability Solid understanding of MV & LV installations Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and contracts Strong planning, coordination, and problem‑solving skills What to Expect Work on large‑scale industrial and mining projects Regular travel and stay‑over on remote sites Exposure to leading technologies, including ABB and Omron systems Access to ongoing technical training via online learning platforms #J-18808-Ljbffr
