We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Senior Data Architect to design, build, and optimise scalable data architectures that support advanced analytics, reporting, and business intelligence initiatives. This role is critical in shaping the organisation’s data strategy, ensuring data quality, governance, and accessibility across the enterprise. Key Responsibilities Design and implement enterprise-level data architecture aligned with business strategy Define and maintain data models (conceptual, logical, and physical) Lead the development of data warehouses, data lakes, and modern data platforms Establish and enforce data governance, standards, and best practices Ensure data quality, integrity, security, and compliance across systems Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable data solutions Guide and mentor data engineers, analysts, and BI teams Evaluate and implement new data technologies and tools Optimise data pipelines and architecture for performance and cost-efficiency Drive cloud data architecture initiatives (AWS, Azure, or GCP) Required Skills & Experience 8–12+ years’ experience in data architecture, data engineering, or related fields Strong expertise in data modelling techniques (e.g., Kimball, Inmon) Proven experience with data warehousing and big data platforms Advanced SQL skills and experience with ETL/ELT processes Hands‑on experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) Experience with tools such as Snowflake, Databricks, Hadoop, or similar Strong understanding of data governance and data security frameworks Experience designing real‑time and batch data processing systems Ability to work with large, complex datasets in high‑volume environments Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field Certifications in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Data Engineer) Experience in financial services / healthcare / insurance (depending on industry) Exposure to machine learning data pipelines is advantageous Strong strategic thinking and problem‑solving ability Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills Leadership and mentoring capability Ability to operate in complex, fast‑paced environments High attention to detail with a focus on data accuracy and governance #J-18808-Ljbffr
