Key Responsibilities Identify new market opportunities and assess commercial viability; build and close strategic deals Lead the design and implementation of a fit-for-purpose operating model to scale revenue Drive end-to-end revenue generation initiatives in fast-paced, uncertain environments Build and lead cross-functional programs with limited structure or support Influence at the board and executive level; contribute to strategic planning and decision-making Develop compelling business cases and investment proposals for Boards/Executive Committees Manage portfolio opportunities, market expansion strategies, and business model innovation Mentor and lead multidisciplinary teams; foster a high-performance culture Ensure governance, risk management, and compliance in all commercial activities Collaborate with Marketing, Product, Finance, and Operations to align on growth initiatives Ideal Candidate Profile Experience: 10–15+ years in senior business development, growth strategy, and commercial leadership; proven track record in identifying, negotiating, and securing value-adding opportunities Leadership: Experience leading multidisciplinary teams; ability to inspire and drive performance Stakeholder Management: Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills; board-ready presenting abilities Industry Flexibility: Broad perspective across industries; not confined to a single domain Education: Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Investment Management, Real Estate, or related field; MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification preferred Mindset: Commercially minded with a focus on performance, process, and results; resilient, proactive, and adaptable Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Investment Management, Real Estate, or related field MBA or related postgraduate qualification preferred 10–15+ years of relevant experience in senior BD, growth strategy, and commercial leadership Strong track record in negotiating and concluding complex commercial agreements Experience presenting to Boards/Executive Committees and leading cross-functional teams Deep understanding of portfolio management, market expansion, and business model innovation Desirable Qualifications (Nice-to-Have) Experience in multiple industries or a broad sector perspective Demonstrated success in scaling operations and driving revenue in growth environments Advanced financial modelling and investment appraisal skills #J-18808-Ljbffr
