The Actuarial Analyst will be exposed to hospital pricing, tariff structures, and risk management, with a specific focus on Alternative Reimbursement Methods (ARM). Through proactive analysis and reporting, the role will support sustainable profitability, effective risk management, and dataâdriven transformation within a dynamic healthcare environment.Key Responsibilities: Analyse the impact of hospital pricing and tariffs with the objective of developing ARM Develop and produce reports to monitor the effectiveness of ARM models Identify and assess key risks related to hospital event costs and establish reporting mechanisms to manage these risks Perform profitability analysis per medical scheme and ARM contract type Job Experience and Skills Required: Education: Degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related Minimum 7 ASSA exams completed Experience: Minimum of 3 years relevant experience, ideally within the healthcare environment Proven analytical and problem solving capability Strong ability to identify trends and patterns in complex data sets Skills: Advanced proficiency in spreadsheets, databases, and statistical analysis tools Exceptional attention to detail with a structured, logical approach Resilience, curiosity, enthusiasm, and a strong drive to deliver results For more exciting Actuarial and Analytics vacancies, please visit:
