Job Description We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Laboratory Assistant to join our team at Msuez Uk. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in chemistry and laboratory techniques, as well as excellent organizational and communication skills. Key Responsibilities Conduct routine laboratory tests and experiments under the supervision of senior scientists Prepare samples and reagents for testing Operate and maintain laboratory equipment Record and analyze test results accurately Maintain laboratory cleanliness and safety standards Assist in the development and improvement of laboratory procedures Communicate effectively with team members and provide support as needed Keep accurate records of all laboratory activities and data Adhere to all company policies and procedures Qualifications and Skills Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related field Previous experience working in a laboratory setting preferred Familiarity with laboratory equipment and procedures Strong attention to detail and accuracyExcellent communication and organizational skills Ability to work independently and in a team environment Proficient in Microsoft Office and data analysis software Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures in a laboratory setting Willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques and procedures Contract Details This is a full-time, permanent position located in Durban, South Africa.
