Role Overview We are seeking an innovative and highly skilled AWS Kiro Consultant to help our clients accelerate software delivery through AI-powered development practices on Amazon Web Services (AWS). The successful candidate will leverage AWS Kiro to transform how software is designed, developed, tested, documented, and deployed. This role combines cloud engineering, software development, DevOps automation, platform engineering, and artificial intelligence to enable organizations to deliver high-quality software faster, more securely, and at lower cost. The AWS Kiro Consultant will work closely with architects, developers, business analysts, product owners, and operations teams to design and implement modern software engineering practices powered by AI. Key Responsibilities AWS Kiro Implementation Deploy and configure AWS Kiro environments. Integrate Kiro into existing software delivery processes. Design AI-assisted development workflows. Establish governance and guardrails for AI-generated code. Enable enterprise adoption of Kiro across multiple teams. Define standards and best practices for AI-assisted engineering. Software Development Develop enterprise-grade applications using modern programming languages. Utilize Kiro to accelerate: Code generation Documentation generation Test generation Refactoring activities API development Infrastructure provisioning Review AI-generated code for quality, maintainability, and security. Implement secure coding practices. Cloud Engineering Design and build cloud-native solutions on AWS. Implement scalable and resilient architectures. Configure AWS services including: EC2 ECS EKS Lambda API Gateway RDS DynamoDB S3 CloudFront EventBridge SNS SQS IAM KMS Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions. DevOps & Automation Design CI/CD pipelines. Implement automated deployment processes. Build cloud automation frameworks. Integrate Kiro into DevSecOps toolchains. Improve software delivery efficiency through automation. Platform Engineering Develop reusable engineering platforms and templates. Build developer self-service capabilities. Improve developer experience (DevEx). Create standardized deployment and operational frameworks. AI-Assisted Software Engineering Train teams on effective prompt engineering. Develop reusable Kiro templates and workflows. Define AI development governance. Measure productivity gains from AI-assisted development. Identify opportunities for software delivery optimization. Client Consulting Conduct discovery workshops. Assess current software engineering maturity. Define transformation roadmaps. Deliver architecture recommendations. Mentor client engineering teams.
