This hands‑on management role is ideal for someone who thrives in a premium wine environment, enjoys developing a team, and has the organisational ability to run a high‑standard cellar door operation. Minimum Requirements Matric and Hospitality Diploma essential WSET qualification or equivalent wine course Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar tasting room or wine sales management role Comprehensive knowledge of wine, wine club operations and cellar door management Strong leadership, staff scheduling and training ability Excellent administrative, stock control and cash management skills Sales‑driven, able to achieve and motivate toward revenue targets High energy, detail‑oriented and guest‑focused Ability to coordinate and host events and functions Proficient in MS Office and POS systems Stable work history with contactable references Must currently reside in Cape Town; relocation will not be considered Key Responsibilities Oversee and manage the full cellar door operation to maintain a premium guest experience and achieve sales targets Recruit, train, schedule and develop the cellar door team Manage stock control, cash management and daily financial reconciliation Provide weekly sales reports and maintain administrative systems and records Initiate local marketing programmes to build community and industry relationships Coordinate and host special events and functions from planning through to execution Assist the Tasting Room Manager with benchmarking, budgeting and operational improvements Ensure full compliance with health, safety and hygiene standards Package CTC: R23,573 per month Permanent position Live‑out #J-18808-Ljbffr
