The environment demands someone who is detail-oriented, deadline-driven, and capable of managing multiple priorities across different entities.If you are looking to step into a visible and impactful leadership role, this opportunity offers exposure, growth, and the ability to influence financial direction at a senior level.Key Responsibilities: Prepare and submit all statutory returns, including SARS (EMP201, VAT201, IRP6, and income tax), UIF, provident funds, and regulatory submissions Compile and distribute monthly management accounts, including VAT reconciliations, IT14SD reconciliations, and related party reporting Manage the full payroll function, including salary processing, inter-company transactions, and payroll journals Oversee financial records and journals using financial systems such as Pastel/Palladium Prepare monthly cash flows, review files, and assist with annual financial statements and independent reviews Handle SARS eFiling queries and maintain tax compliance status Ensure full financial compliance across multiple entities within the group structure Present monthly financial reports to the Board and provide strategic financial insights to support decision-making Job Experience and Skills Required: Education: Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field Professional qualification (CA(SA) or equivalent) is highly advantageous Experience: Minimum of 5 years experience in a financial management role Proven experience managing multi-entity or group structures Strong background in tax compliance, payroll, and statutory reporting Experience in preparing management accounts and Board-level reporting Demonstrated leadership and team management capability Skills & Technical Requirements: Advanced proficiency in Pastel/Palladium and payroll systems Strong knowledge of South African tax legislation and compliance requirements Excellent analytical, reporting, and communication skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Non-Negotiables: Strong technical accounting capability Hands-on approach with a strategic mindset High level of accuracy and attention to detail Apply now!
