Overview Paarl, South Africa | Posted on 03/13/2026 FINANCIAL ACCOUNTANT (SAIPA) - R50k pm - PAARL A well-established and historic agricultural estate in the Cape Winelands is seeking a Financial Accountant (SAIPA) with 1–2 years post-articles experience to join its finance team. This role offers exposure to a working agricultural environment with multiple operational components, where finance plays an important role in supporting day-to-day farming, production and commercial activities. The successful candidate will work closely with management to ensure accurate financial reporting, strong controls and effective financial oversight across the business. Exposure to a diverse agricultural and operational environment and the opportunity to work within a historic and well-established estate setting in the Cape Winelands. Key responsibilities Preparing monthly management accounts and assisting with financial reporting Maintaining the general ledger and ensuring accurate reconciliations Processing and reviewing journals, accruals and provisions Supporting budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis Managing accounts payable and receivable oversight Assisting with stock and inventory accounting where relevant to agricultural operations Supporting cash flow management and financial planning Preparing schedules for audits and assisting with audit queries Ensuring compliance with accounting standards, tax and regulatory requirements Contributing to continuous improvement of financial processes and internal controls This is an excellent opportunity for an accountant who enjoys working close to operations and wants to build a strong career foundation within a dynamic agricultural business environment.
