Vacancy: Weighbridge Operator – Cape Town, Western Cape Our Client, a leader in the Logistics Industry, seeks to employ a Weighbridge Operator to join their dynamic team. Applicants must reside in and around the Cape Town area. Duties & Responsibilities Facilitate boarding of trucks at the weighbridge. Report any discrepancies and initiate corrective measures. Ensure that all drivers and visitors are wearing the appropriate PPE on site. Notify drivers when a vehicle is overweight. Perform housekeeping to designated areas. Weighing trucks from entry and exit and ensuring efficient data entry. Report problems and maintenance issues to the supervisor. Prepare a report in which the weight and number of trucks are loaded for each shift. Perform other duties as required within the logistics. Desired Experience & Qualification Grade 12 (Twelve). Weighbridge Operator certificate (Advantageous). Great attention to detail. Must be computer literate. Able to work shifts. Good time keeping and attendance record.
