Our client, a well-established and reputable organisation based in Witbank, is seeking an experienced and results-driven Quality Assurance Manager to lead and manage all quality assurance functions within their operations. Key Responsibilities Quality Management Systems Develop, implement, maintain, and continuously improve the company's Quality Management System (QMS). Ensure compliance with applicable ISO standards, customer specifications, and regulatory requirements. Review and update quality policies, procedures, work instructions, and quality documentation. Drive quality objectives and ensure alignment with overall business goals. Quality Control & Compliance Monitor operational processes to ensure adherence to established quality standards. Lead internal and external quality audits and ensure audit readiness at all times. Manage corrective and preventive action (CAPA) processes and ensure effective resolution of non-conformances. Ensure compliance with customer, legal, industry, and company quality requirements. Continuous Improvement Identify quality improvement opportunities and implement sustainable solutions. Analyse quality performance data and provide recommendations to improve efficiency, reduce defects, and minimise waste. Facilitate root cause analysis investigations and implement preventative measures. Drive continuous improvement initiatives across all departments. Leadership & Training Lead, mentor, and develop the Quality team. Promote a culture of quality awareness throughout the organisation. Conduct quality-related training and coaching for employees and management. Collaborate closely with Production, Operations, Engineering, Procurement, and other departments to achieve quality objectives. Reporting & Stakeholder Management Prepare and present quality performance reports to senior management. Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) relating to quality, compliance, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement. Manage customer quality concerns and ensure timely resolution of complaints and quality incidents. Liaise with customers, suppliers, and regulatory bodies on quality-related matters. Minimum Requirements Qualifications Bachelor's Degree or National Diploma in Quality Management, Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or a related field. Quality-related certifications will be advantageous (ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, etc.). Experience Minimum of 5–8 years' experience in a Quality Assurance or Quality Management role. Minimum of 3 years' management experience leading quality teams. Experience within manufacturing, engineering, mining support services, industrial, or production environments will be highly advantageous. Proven experience implementing and maintaining ISO-based Quality Management Systems. Knowledge & Skills Strong understanding of Quality Management Systems and ISO standards. Excellent knowledge of quality assurance methodologies, auditing principles, and continuous improvement practices. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent leadership and people management skills. Ability to interpret technical specifications, procedures, and quality requirements. Advanced reporting and data analysis skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and quality management software.
