Our client within the manufacturing sector is seeking a proactive and analytical Accountant to join their finance team. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with operations, manage key reporting functions, and ensure compliance in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment.Key Responsibilities: Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports Oversee and reconcile payroll processes Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and internal controls Compile annual financial statements in line with accounting standards Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes Manage VAT, PAYE, income tax, and provisional tax submissions Handle queries relating to SARS, audits, and compliance matters Perform age analysis and manage supplier and debtor portfolios Maintain accurate financial records through journals and reconciliations Experience: BCom Accounting degree 23 years experience in a similar accounting role Exposure to a manufacturing or industrial environment advantageous Skills:: Strong financial reporting and reconciliation capability Sound knowledge of statutory compliance and tax processes High level of accuracy and attention to detail Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a pressurised environment Proficient in Excel Strong problem-solving and organisational skills Apply now and take ownership of your next career move.
