Bookkeeper / Administrator – East London Location: East London, Eastern CapeEmployment Type: Permanent Our client is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Bookkeeper / Administrator to join their team in East London. This role is ideal for a candidate who enjoys working with numbers while also providing efficient administrative support to ensure the smooth running of the office. Key Responsibilities Full bookkeeping function up to trial balance Processing creditors and debtors Bank and account reconciliations Capturing invoices and processing payments Assisting with month-end reporting Maintaining accurate financial records and filing systems General office administration and support Managing correspondence, documentation, and record keeping Assisting with procurement and supplier liaison Preparing reports and maintaining spreadsheets Data capturing and ensuring accuracy of information Minimum Requirements Matric (Grade 12) Relevant bookkeeping or accounting qualification advantageous Minimum 3 years' bookkeeping experience Experience working on accounting software (Pastel, Sage, Xero, or similar) Proficient in Microsoft Excel and the MS Office Suite Strong administrative and organisational skills Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities Personal Attributes Professional and trustworthy Highly organised and deadline- driven Strong problem-solving skills Reliable with a positive attitude Ability to maintain confidentiality #J-18808-Ljbffr
