Occupational Health Nurse at Sea Harvest – Cape Town 2026 Sea Harvest is seeking a qualified Occupational Health Nursing Practitioner to join its Health & Safety department in Philippi, Cape Town. This permanent, full‑time role reports to the General Manager and focuses on delivering clinical care, preventing workplace injuries, and ensuring occupational health compliance in a food‑production environment. Key Responsibilities Administer and dispense medication and treatment to employees on‑site when required. Provide family‑planning information and administer contraceptives as needed. Ensure first‑aid boxes are fully stocked and compliant with regulations. Assess and treat work‑related incidents promptly, referring to the company doctor or external GP when necessary, and keep accurate incident records. Conduct patient assessments, record medical histories, and contribute to treatment plans. Coordinate audiometry testing with qualified practitioners. Requirements Registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) as a Professional Nurse. Post‑graduate Diploma or Certificate in Occupational Health Nursing. Valid dispensing licence and SANC membership. Current First Aid certificate. Mid‑senior level experience in occupational health, preferably within FMCG or food‑production environments. Core competencies: reliability, quality focus, safety focus, sound judgement and decision‑making. Open to South African citizens (or permanent residents) as per SANC registration requirements.
