Cold Storage Supervisor Our client is a proud supplier of high quality pork to the majority of production and retail outlets in the Western Cape. They are looking for a Cold Storage Supervisor to join their team. Duties & Responsibilities Stock control from deboning department to freezers Stock control stock booked out from freezers to clients Daily livestock figures to management To assist with export documents when needed Ordering of materials (pallets, etc.) To ensure orders are accurate and complete communication to clients and Telesales in the event of shortages Be able to work in cold conditions (+5 to -25 degrees) Work overtime when needed Monthly stock take Financial year end stock take Time and attendance of employees in department Record keeping of all returns and the inspection of the quality of the returns in conjunction with the Quality Control employees Desired Experience & Qualification EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Matric Relevant tertiary qualification advantageous EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED: 3 - 4 Years experience in a similar position Basic knowledge of pork products / cuts Able to maintain discipline in the department Sober habits Able to concentrate and work under pressure Computer literate (MS Office and Abaserve) Good communication skills on all levels Good mathematical skills Good timekeeping #J-18808-Ljbffr
