Please note this position is based in Qatar. The Vice Principal supports the Principal in providing strategic, academic, and operational leadership to ensure high standards of education, student achievement, and institutional effectiveness. The role plays a critical part in driving academic excellence, staff performance, student wellbeing, and compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements. Key Responsibilities Academic Leadership & Quality Assurance Support the Principal in developing and implementing the institution’s academic vision and strategic plan. Oversee curriculum delivery, assessment standards, and academic quality assurance. Monitor student performance, progression, and outcomes, implementing improvement plans where required. Ensure compliance with national education standards, accreditation bodies, and inspection frameworks. Staff Leadership & Development Support the recruitment, induction, performance management, and professional development of academic and support staff. Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Provide coaching and mentoring to Heads of Department and senior academic staff. Student Experience & Wellbeing Promote a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment. Oversee student discipline, welfare, attendance, and engagement initiatives. Support student support services and pastoral care frameworks. Operations & Administration Assist with timetable planning, resource allocation, and operational efficiency. Support budget planning and cost control related to academic operations. Ensure effective policies, procedures, and governance structures are implemented. Stakeholder Engagement Act as a key liaison with parents, guardians, regulators, and external stakeholders. Represent the institution at meetings, events, and inspections as required. Support enrolment, retention, and institutional growth initiatives. General Act as Principal in their absence when required. Undertake additional duties aligned with institutional needs and strategic priorities.
