The CC facilitates the application process for such customers through the input of application data into EF application systems, including uploading supporting documentation such as payslips and bank statements. The CC is the primary liaison with EF applicants in terms of application progress and outcomes, and the setup of merchant accounts for the acquisition of building materials. The CC also plays a societal role in facilitating finance for the development and improvement of housing in South Africa, and helps build-ware merchants provide a better service and reach a larger customer base, thereby increasing their turnover and sustainability.
