Business Relationship Manager (Agriculture) To strategically lead and manage a portfolio of high‑value clients, driving sustainable growth and profitability. This job focuses on building strong, trust-based relationships with key stakeholders, identifying and capitalising on new business opportunities, and expanding the portfolio through targeted client acquisition. Success is measured by client satisfaction, portfolio financial performance, compliance with governance standards, and effective onboarding of new clients. Responsibilities Strategically and operationally manage and grow a portfolio of high revenue generating clients, including key relationship management, seeking, identifying and exploiting business opportunities for the bank, and growing the portfolio through acquisition of new clients. Enhance business performance and profitability. Drive customer service delivery goal achievement in line with predefined standards and operational objectives. Ensure growth and increase in customer base by managing existing clients, generating new leads, and growing the active customer account base. Set tactical goals and optimise the use of people, finances, and technologies to realise those goals. Define a sales strategy and delivery plans in support of the strategic business objectives. Assess and evaluate credit applications in accordance with the bank's credit policy and within set time frames. Ensure compliance with legislative and audit requirements and adherence to relevant processes. Manage people by executing line manager responsibilities and create an environment that encourages employee growth and performance excellence. Ideal Candidate FAIS Compliant (RE5). Relevant business degree (financial). 2–4 years of credit experience and 3–5 years of relationship management and product knowledge experience. Agricultural qualification or experience. Must not be an unrehabilitated insolvent. In accordance with the National Credit Act (NCA) candidates applying for this role will require a credit record check.
