Key Responsibilities Develop a clear and compelling digital strategy for our future growth agenda, where AI is at the heart of the way we execute with technology and deliver services to our customers and colleagues. Build, inspire, encourage and lead the strategy of the Customer Platforms function to successfully deliver key objectives. Drive digital innovation and serve as a change agent throughout our business, with an Automation 1st mindset, driving efficiency and increasing customer sentiment. Be an evangelist, championing the use of digital technology and practices to engender a digital mindset from the top down. Lead the implementation of the digital strategy, working with cross‑functional leaders, transitioning to an automated, highly efficient and self‑service way of working for our customers and colleagues. Be a thought leader to identify new tools and techniques that will support and enhance the experience for our customers and colleagues. Work with leaders across the business to generate innovative digital solutions for products, services, processes, customer experiences and marketing channels. Drive decision‑making at Executive/Director level; including risk management, business partner engagement, financial control, presentations at Director and Executive level, negotiations and transition planning. Own the customer platforms/Customer experience planning and delivery cycle, including a unified approach to risk management, objective setting and budget management, backlog prioritisation. Own M&A integration across the Eco‑System; Klipboard is an acquisitive company, and you will need to have experience integrating acquired businesses into a defined systems architecture. Skills, Knowledge and Experience 5+ years of experience in a similar role within a B2B SaaS company. Proven leadership of successful digital transformation project implementation within a B2B SaaS company. Know what it is to deliver amazing customer experiences through the use of technology, understanding of core business customer processes and their associated technical solutions. Innovative and disruptive mindset, constantly looking forward, experience of bringing ideas to life – bringing Generative AI into daily business operations. Experience in managing and leading an enterprise engineering function. Proven skills for influencing and collaborating with CxO leaders. Exceptional leader with a proven ability to set clear direction and drive potentially complex and challenging plans through to successful conclusion, and who leads by example. Strategic and imaginative thinker able to translate ideas into systematic and achievable plans. Experience of effective budgetary control for significant budgets greater than £5m. A pragmatic approach to problem‑solving whilst retaining a strategic view. Excellent technical awareness and business acumen across customer platforms landscape – Sales & Marketing Technology, HubSpot/Salesforce/CPQ, Customer Success (ServiceNow CSM), Telephony, global customer data management.
