JOB TYPE: 6 Month – Contract (In – Office) LOCATION: South Africa, Somerset West REPORT TO: Chief Information Security Officer Overview KEY PURPOSE OF JOB The purpose of this role is to assist with the configuration efforts of NSS within the internal applications framework. Responsibilities Key Tasks Process Mapping & Validation Confirm and update existing process flows to ensure accuracy and completeness Engage with stakeholders to understand current workflows Document and maintain up-to-date process maps for digitalisation initiatives Digital Configuration & Alignment Configure digital assets, forms, and systems to align with processes Ensure accurate translation of manual inputs into digital formats Maintain consistency between digital and physical records Support testing and validation of configured digital solutions Virtualisation Support Support system testing within virtual platforms Monitor basic system performance and escalate issues Documentation & Reporting Maintain clear documentation of processes, configurations, and changes Track progress of digitalisation activities Provide regular updates and reports User Support & Training Assist users in transitioning from manual to digital processes Provide basic troubleshooting and support Support training initiatives for new systems and tools Qualifications & Experience Requirements NQF Level 6 (diploma) / NQF Level 7 (bachelor’s degree) in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Computer Systems Familiarity with at least one language like Python, Java, JavaScript, or C++ Skills & Competencies High curiosity Adaptability to new technologies Problem‑solving Proactive attitude Data handling and system management Attention to detail and accuracy Basic IT troubleshooting #J-18808-Ljbffr
