Responsibilities Conduct home visits to assess living conditions, evaluate family dynamics, and identify potential risks or needs within the home environment. Provide counseling/therapy sessions to participants referred from various studies for mental health and psychosocial matters such as domestic violence, sexual assault, child neglect, and suicide ideation. Case‑manage participants, including documentation and reporting of potential social harm. Debrief and participate in supervision meetings. Establish and maintain strategic relationships within AHRI departments and with the Hlabisa Sub‑district health and social welfare service providers to facilitate the smooth referral of social welfare cases. Support other relevant work‑related duties. Minimum Requirements Holds a Social Work degree. Valid driver’s license and at least 1 year of driving experience. Computer literacy (MS Office – Word, Excel & PowerPoint). Fluency in speaking and writing IsiZulu and English. Registered under the South African Council for Social Service Professions (SACSSP). At least 5 years of experience in counseling/therapy intervention. Previous experience working in rural communities. Knowledge of GCP will be advantageous. Skills Required Administrative abilities.
