Ricoh South Africa is recruiting for the position of Digital Services: Sales Consultant. This role will be responsible to achieve and exceed targets set for revenue, margin, and monthly subscriptions through the promotion of Digital Services offerings to directly engaged Ricoh customers and the Business Partner channel and their end customers. This position requires a high level of consultative selling and technical skills where the candidate will be required to not only understand the Ricoh products but have the unique ability to integrate into business environments with customers and partners to find 'fit for purpose' digital solutions that would address customers pain points and automation/digitalisation needs. The responsibility further extends to the development of digital transformation strategies for customers and business partners alike, whilst engaging and onboarding new and potential Digital Services Partners and customers. The candidate will be expected to focus on DocuWare as the flagship solution. Other solutions that fall within the Digital Services portfolio include complimentary application services to DocuWare, AI plug inns, cybersecurity and communication services as well as onboarding and localisation of new technologies as and when introduced. What you will be doing Develop clear account plans for customers and Business Partners including strategies, applicability and localisation Lead discovery workshops; produce High-Level Scope , solution concept and indicative pricing within SLA Clear understanding on a functional and technical level of all products in the Ricoh Digital basket Consulting capabilities and ability to engage with C-Suite Executives Signing new customers for Digital Services products Identify, develop and onboard new Digital Services business partners, while proactively securing new direct sales customers for Ricoh’s DS portfolio Reach assigned monthly sales/activation targets Running process from onboarding to implementation Deliver clear business growth of DocuWare and other solutions for Ricoh Support Business Partners (BPs) within defined areas, following Ricoh SA's Digital Services strategies Recruit/activate BPs and run enablement (qualification checklists, talk tracks) Manage the functional, technical and financial output of the Digital Services line of business with relation to revenue, margin and monthly recurring subscriptions Provide sales support for the Ricoh DS portfolio, including sales calls, presentations, demonstrations, proof-of-concepts, business requirement specifications, assessment services and preparation of proposals Execute pipeline plans and sales methodology with a quarterly review in the form of management Attend Business Partner (BP) sales meetings on a regular basis to maintain Ricoh visibility and awareness Take ownership of the entire BP sales cycle and process to ensure maximum closure ratios Assist existing and new BPs with digital transformation – to sell full range of DS services and products Work closely with the marketing Product Managers to develop “go to market” strategies and alignment to the Digital Services value propositions Monitor and report back on Business Partner activity, transformation and/or any other significant trends taking place within the BP environment Conduct sales and technical workshops to educate, as well as providing end-user seminars and presentations to close business both internal to Ricoh and to Business Partners Interface with Ricoh Europe central team to contribute to target plans You will ideally have BSC degree/diploma or equivalent qualification and experience A minimum of 10 years related experience in the solutions/software industry or the equivalent combination of formal education and experience Proven understanding of common business processes i.e. Accounts Payable / Receivable, HR, Employee Onboarding etc Technical fluency to scope at high level: APIs/JSON , integration patterns (REST, webhooks), SSO, roles, basic data mapping, security & POPIA Full understanding of the technical and business concepts surrounding the following areas:Document Management Content Management Print Management Workflow Solutions Digital Services Solutions AI Must have the ability to design and propose complex technologies using Ricoh’s DS Proven track record of continuously working under pressure and achieving high levels of excellence Good relationship building skills Strive for good deals, increase long-term relationships with clients and display total commitment to customer & service satisfaction Increase market coverage & prospecting intensity Decision-making & problem-solving ability, and administrative skills Exceptional honesty & integrity Completely focused on sales targets with high closing ratios Display high levels of drive, energy & enthusiasm Teamwork and collaboration Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills, both verbal & written Good level of IT skills Ability to work on own initiative and under pressure Good negotiation and influencing skills Exceptional time management skills Self-motivation and results driven Continuous improvement & flexibility / adaptability Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Excellent IT skills, including advanced knowledge of MS PowerPoint and Excel, experience of using VM’s & VirtualBox In return for your commitment, you can expect Ricoh is an exceptional place to work.
