We are seeking a skilled and innovative Automation Engineer to join our engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and optimizing automated control systems to improve operational efficiency, reliability, safety, and productivity. This role requires strong technical expertise in industrial automation, control systems, and process improvement.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Design, develop, and implement automation and control systems for industrial processes.- Program, configure, and maintain PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems.- Troubleshoot and resolve automation, instrumentation, and control system issues.- Support commissioning, testing, and validation of automation projects.- Develop and maintain electrical and control system documentation, drawings, and procedures.- Monitor system performance and identify opportunities for process optimization and continuous improvement.- Collaborate with production, maintenance, and engineering teams to improve plant efficiency and reduce downtime.- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, engineering standards, and company procedures.- Manage automation-related projects from concept through implementation.- Provide technical support and training to maintenance and operational personnel.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.- Experience in industrial automation and control systems.- Proven experience with PLC programming (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Schneider, or similar platforms).- Experience with HMI and SCADA development and support.- Knowledge of industrial communication networks and protocols.- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, P&IDs, and technical drawings.- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.- Excellent communication and project management abilities.
