About the role Malander is seeking an immediately available Financial Accountant to join a fast-paced finance team. This opportunity is suited to a hands-on, detail-oriented professional with solid experience across management accounts, payroll, and statutory compliance, who is comfortable taking ownership in a deadline-driven environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the full finance function, ensuring accurate reporting, compliance with regulatory requirements, and effective management of day-to-day financial operations. Key responsibilities Prepare and review monthly management accounts, including analysis and commentary Manage payroll processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely execution Oversee VAT and tax submissions, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements Perform reconciliations and maintain the integrity of financial records Handle company secretarial duties, ensuring compliance with statutory obligations Assist with month-end and year-end processes Support audits and liaise with external stakeholders where required Contribute to process improvements and general finance operations Requirements Proven experience as a Financial Accountant or in a similar role Strong experience in management accounts, payroll, and VAT/tax Exposure to company secretarial duties High attention to detail with strong reconciliation skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines Strong understanding of financial controls and compliance SAIPA membership is advantageous Immediate availability is non-negotiable Preferred Experience Experience with financial analysis and reporting.
