ROLE OVERVIEW The Sales Representative: On Trade will be responsible for driving sales growth, brand visibility, and customer relationships within the On-Consumption channel across the Cape Town CBD area. The role focuses on achieving volume and availability targets, managing promotions and events, identifying new business opportunities, and delivering excellent customer service while representing the company’s portfolio within the liquor industry. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Calling on On-Consumption customers as per agreed calling schedules within and around the Cape Town CBD area Brand performance by channel and outlet Ensure that value and volume are key drivers of all activities Identify availability and volume opportunities Achieve brand availability targets as per the Company standards Design, implement and manage promotions, tastings, and events A commitment to customer service and seeking new opportunities Manage On-Consumption channels as set out in the brand prioritisation guidelines General Sales Administration SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES Fluent in English, both spoken and written Should demonstrate initiative and be results-driven Must be a strong team player Should embody the Edward Snell leadership behaviours (Be resilient, Take ownership, Communicate effectively, Lead change, Solve problems and Drive Results) Maintain a positive attitude towards work Willingness to work overtime and weekends is required Must be assertive and possess excellent negotiation skills QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE Matric or equivalent Diploma or Degree in Sales, Marketing or related field Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Sales Representative within an FMCG environment is required Liquor industry experience is essential Must have a valid Code 8 driver’s license #J-18808-Ljbffr
