Duties & Responsibilities Targeting & Grading / qualifying of customers Submission of weekly call reports Build effective business relationships with industry professionals Good network and customer base in Gauteng region Strategic thinker and ability to analyse CONMESA data Proficient in Microsoft packages, excel, word etc Keeping current with competitor products, service offerings and activities Reporting and updating the market intelligence system Reporting of competitor behaviour and offerings Meet Sales targets in own territory Planning quarterly, monthly, weekly and daily on a continuous basis Grow market share by implementing own business initiatives in area Share best practices with colleagues to improve efficiency in the field Meeting sales targets within territory Commercial and business awareness Clear understanding of the yellow metal market in South Africa Proven track record in selling excavators, wheel loaders and dozers into the South African market Demonstrated ability to succeed in a price-sensitive market Demonstrated ability to meet and/or exceed sales targets Ability to multitask, think strategically and analytically and prioritize effectively Target and Achievement driven Build effective business relationships with partners and customers Identifying and establishing new business Must have new equipment sales and rental equipment sales experience.
