Exciting opportunity here for a Head of Client Solutions to lead all technical, commercial, strategic, and operational activities – ensuring our elite payment orchestration platform can scale – whilst delivering exceptional product integrations/deployments for enterprise level customers in South Africa. In this multifaceted role we are searching for a player-coach, a technical leader who is also commercially minded. Working and delivering exceptional software to clients must be second nature, whilst leading your team to success. Key responsibilities Strategic Leadership: Lead commercial, strategic, and operational activities within the Client Solutions team. Client Solutions Management: Oversee pre- and post-sale technical implementation processes, acting as a bridge between sales, onboarding, engineering, and customers. Market Analysis: Utilise customer and industry insights to inform product and technology decisions, driving innovation and competitive advantage solutions, defining and monitoring quarterly goals. Tool and Solution Development: Develop tools and solutions to improve developer experience and create bespoke integrations for key customers. Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with Sales, Customer Success, Fraud, Support, Finance, and Engineering teams to ensure a smooth implementation and go-live, informed product decisions, and efficient delivery of payments solutions. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics from a top-tier university or similar work experience having worked on large-scale systems At least 10+ years of product, product leadership and/or integrations/solutions engineering leadership experience in the SaaS, SI or fintech space(s) 6+ years of leadership and organisational management experience. Empathy for customer objectives and pain points (i.e. the ability to walk in a customer's shoes and understand their biggest problems). An ability to lead a team of Senior Solutions Consultants (pre-sales) and Solutions Architects (post-sales) Outstanding communication, interpersonal and relationship-building skills. Be able to communicate with both technical and non-technical decision-makers.
