Mandatory Requirements Minimum trade qualification with at least 5 years proven experience in supervising reinforced concrete works on civil engineering or infrastructure projects. Strong knowledge of: Reinforced concrete structures Formwork and shuttering Reinforcement fixing Concrete placing, vibration, finishing, and curing Concrete quality control and cube testing Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and bending schedules Experience supervising labourers and subcontractors on site Sound understanding of construction health and safety requirements related to concrete works Primary Responsibilities Supervision of all reinforced concrete works including: Valve chambers Thrust blocks Foundations Slabs Columns and beams Other building concrete works Ensure concrete works comply with drawings, specifications, and quality standards Coordinate concrete pours, reinforcement inspections, shuttering, and curing activities Monitor productivity, workmanship, material usage, and site housekeeping Maintain safe working procedures during all concrete operations Advantageous Experience Experience in the following will be beneficial: Water and sewer infrastructure projects Pipeline and valve chamber construction Reservoir infrastructure Excavation, backfilling, and reinstatement works Municipal infrastructure projects
