The Opportunity This is a high‑impact, front‑end business development role focused purely on originating new clients (offtakers) for renewable energy projects. This is not a technical or deal‑structuring role. The successful candidate will be responsible for opening doors, building relationships, and generating qualified opportunities that are handed over to the internal deal team for execution. If you are a natural deal originator who thrives on building pipelines from scratch and engaging senior decision‑makers, this role offers strong earning potential and autonomy. Duties & Responsibilities Identify, approach, and qualify potential energy offtakers across corporates, industrials, mining, agriculture, and municipalities Leverage existing networks to generate warm leads and new business opportunities Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders (CFOs, energy managers, procurement heads, sustainability leads) Actively source opportunities through cold outreach, networking, and industry engagement Represent the client at industry events, conferences, and networking forums Manage and track a structured pipeline using CRM tools Provide market intelligence on pricing trends, competitors, and client demand Coordinate introductions and handover qualified opportunities to the deal team What This Role Is Not No PPA negotiation or contract structuring No involvement in financial close or funding processes No trading or technical project execution No delivery or engineering responsibilities This role is 100% focused on client acquisition and relationship management.
