We are looking for a Industrial Engineer with a strong background in logistics/automotive to serve as our technical sales lead and support our commercial growth. This role is ideal for someone who is highly analytical, client‑facing, and enjoys bridging the gap between complex engineering concepts and commercial value to help clients design optimal EV infrastructure solutions. Role Overview As a Industrial Engineer, you will act as the primary technical expert during the sales process. Your focus will be on working directly with potential customers to design, optimize, and present tailored technical solutions. You will analyze client fleet data to build comprehensive charging plans, solar integration models, and optimal site layouts . Collaborating closely with the broader sales team, you will translate engineering data into compelling business cases, join technical sales presentations, and ensure the proposed solutions are both operationally viable and financially beneficial for our clients. Travel to client sites will be required. Key Responsibilities Technical Design & Analysis: Work with potential clients to develop customized EV charging plans, solar energy solutions, and efficient site layouts using industrial engineering principles. Commercial Collaboration: Partner with the sales development and account management teams to present and build robust, data‑backed technical solutions for prospective clients. Needs Assessment: Lead technical deep‑dives and operational needs analysis sessions with qualified leads to define project scope and requirements. Data Modeling: Analyze client fleet data, duty cycles, and energy demands to simulate and optimize the total cost of ownership (TCO) and infrastructure design. Client Engagement: Confidently present technical proposals and engineering concepts to C‑level executives, fleet managers, operational leaders, and engineering teams. CRM & Pipeline Support: Maintain accurate technical documentation, project scopes, and engineering notes within Zoho CRM. Continuous Improvement: Provide feedback to the product and engineering teams regarding client requirements and market trends to help shape Zimi's product roadmap. Requirements Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering (or similar relevant engineering field) is required. Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in a technical sales, solutions engineering, or operational optimization role (preferably within energy, logistics, or fleet sectors). Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in facility layout design, data analysis, and energy or operational modeling. CRM Experience: Familiarity with Zoho CRM or a similar CRM platform is preferred. Communication: Exceptional ability to translate complex engineering and technical data into clear, value‑driven presentations for non‑technical stakeholders. Willingness to travel to client sites as required for assessments and layout mapping. Passion for sustainability, clean energy, or electric mobility is a strong plus.
