Description About the job: End Controller (Internal Applications Only - Olieven) Ensure relevant documentation for all transactions is checked and recorded when stock and/or fixed assets leave the Store or when customers return stock. Requirements Minimum Grade 12 and one (1) year work‑related experience or two (2) years’ work‑related experience Ability to communicate in English and the dominant language spoken in the geographical area where the position is available Must be literate Must have strong numeric skills Proven attention to detail Must be able to work under pressure Must be willing to work shifts, weekends and public holidays Key Performance Area Ensure no goods leave Cashbuild stores without the relevant documentation Complete correct and full documentation Capture the correct date, time, sequence, and signature on documents Ensure all customer returns are correctly recorded in the End Controller book and authorised Ensure a backup employee is available for area of responsibility during shift changes, lunch, and tea breaks Sign the End Control keys IN / OUT daily All exit/entry doors must be closed if not in use Ensure loading and off‑loading shutter doors are closed at all times when not in use Report suspicious behaviour and vehicles that could pose a risk to Cashbuild and its customers to management Conduct random searches on employees when they leave the store Customer Service Offer fast, friendly, and efficient service to all customers when checking in and out goods Direct customers to the relevant person who can assist them Ready for Business Adhere to Ready for Business and Beyond my Control as per the CB Way Values Integrity Comply with generally accepted standards in activities related to the position Keep promises Create realistic expectations Show sincerity Handle sensitive information carefully Show awareness of values, indicate when boundaries are crossed Accuracy Effectively handle detailed information and remain consistently attentive to details Work in an orderly fashion Ensure matters are handled in an orderly and accurate manner from start to finish Prevent mistakesInvest energy in checking work for mistakes Client focus Identify and actively respond to clients’ wishes and needs Deal with clients in a friendly manner Show involvement in the client’s problem Make clients feel welcome Approach the client’s question with a can‑do mentality Personal development Be aware of one’s own strengths and weaknesses, consciously work on personal development Focus on self‑broadening and/or gaining more in-depth knowledge Follow relevant training programmes and/or look for opportunities to gain experience Seek and use opportunities for personal development Ask for feedback to learn #J-18808-Ljbffr
