We’re looking for a knowledgeable and service-driven Wine Steward to support the dining experience by guiding guests through wine selections, maintaining cellar standards and ensuring wine service runs smoothly during service. This is a hands‑on role for someone who enjoys being on the floor, engaging with guests and working closely with the restaurant team. What You’ll Do Assist guests with wine selections and pairings that complement their meals Ensure wines are presented, opened and served correctly at the right temperature Maintain the wine service area, equipment and glassware to required standards Support stock control including ordering, receiving and monthly stock takes Monitor cellar organisation, rotation and replenishment to avoid shortages or waste Work with suppliers and the team to maintain a relevant and well‑managed wine offering Assist with staff guidance on basic wine knowledge and service standards Ensure compliance with all beverage regulations and responsible service practices Contribute to a seamless, professional guest experience on the floor What You’ll Need Previous experience working with wine in a restaurant or hospitality environment A genuine passion for wine and guest service Foundational wine knowledge (formal certification advantageous) Confident communication skills and the ability to engage comfortably with guests Strong attention to detail in presentation, stock handling and service standards Well‑presented, reliable and able to work in a fast‑paced environment A collaborative approach and willingness to learn and grow within the role If you enjoy creating memorable dining experiences and want to build your wine career in a structured, professional environment, we’d love to hear from you. #J-18808-Ljbffr
