Role Description This is a fully remote, contract-based opportunity for a Conference Producer/Copywriter, open exclusively to candidates based in South Africa. The successful candidate will lead and manage a team of producers while owning the end-to-end development and delivery of conferences, in addition to producing their own events. Key responsibilities include conducting in-depth market research, developing compelling event narratives and agendas, securing high-calibre speakers, and overseeing event logistics to ensure seamless execution. This role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and exceptional writing skills, along with the ability to deliver high-quality, commercially successful events within defined timelines. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Identifying emerging industry trends, Crafting persuasive and impactful copy, Collaborating with speakers and stakeholders, and Ensuring the efficient execution of events, from start to finish Qualifications Strong skills in Conference Production, Event Management, and Speaker Acquisition Experience in Market Research to identify industry trends and opportunities Exceptional Communication skills for interacting with senior stakeholders and collaborators Proficiency in project coordination and meticulous attention to detail Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred Ability to work independently in a remote environment and meet deadlines Must be self-motivating and a self-starter Familiarity with the gaming or events industry is a plus #J-18808-Ljbffr
