Minimum Requirements- Relevant BCom Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field - Must be a qualified CA (SA) - 23 years experience in a similar Financial Controller or accounting-related role - Strong Microsoft Office skills, with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel - Strong numerical and analytical skills - Excellent attention to detail and accuracy - Strong organisational, coordination, and time-management abilities - Ability to work independently and within a team environment - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Afrikaans-speaking (essential) - Male or female candidates welcome Key Responsibilities (variable and not limited to) - Assist with the preparation and management of financial reports - Process and review financial transactions accurately and timeously - Assist with monthly management accounts and reporting - Prepare bank reconciliations and cash flow monitoring - Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes - Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures - Support audits and provide required financial documentation - Coordinate with various departments regarding financial information and reporting - Maintain accurate financial records and filing systems - Assist the Financial Manager with daily financial operations and ad hoc duties - Identify discrepancies and resolve financial inconsistencies promptly Key Competencies and Skills- High level of attention to detail - Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking - Excellent coordination and administrative abilities - Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively - Strong work ethic and professional integrity - Ability to work in a fast-paced operational environment - Strong communication and reporting skills - Confidentiality and professionalism when handling financial information Advantageous- Experience within a manufacturing, production, FMCG, or paste-related industry environment will be advantageous - Experience working on Financial, accounting or ERP systems
