Overview The Business Analyst will own requirements definition and product backlog specification across the delivery lifecycle. The successful candidate will act as the connective tissue between clinical stakeholders, solution architects, and the engineering team, translating clinical and business intent into structured, build-ready requirements that engineering teams can execute against and clinical stakeholders can validate. Key Responsibilities Elicit, document, analyse, and refine functional and technical requirements across clinical data ingestion, signal processing, and analytical model workflows. Translate clinical and business requirements into structured user stories, acceptance criteria, functional specifications, and build-ready backlog items. Own and maintain the product backlog as a living specification by refining and decomposing requirements, clarifying delivery scope, and preparing backlog items ahead of sprint planning. Facilitate backlog refinement sessions, stakeholder playback workshops, and sprint planning activities. Document business processes, data flows, integration touchpoints, and functional workflows. Ensure documentation standards support engineering build execution, clinical validation, and governance audit requirements. Manage requirements traceability across delivery sprints to ensure alignment between scope, delivery objectives, governance standards, and stakeholder expectations. Collaborate closely with clinical stakeholders, product owners, engineering teams, architects, and delivery leads. Minimum Requirements Minimum 5+ years as a Business Analyst. Proven experience on data platforms, analytics projects, and technology platform engagements. Demonstrable experience writing user stories, managing Agile product backlogs, and supporting sprint-based delivery. Strong requirements gathering, stakeholder facilitation, documentation, and process-mapping skills. Experience working within Agile/Scrum methodologies. Preferred Experience Exposure to healthcare, clinical, or life sciences environments. Experience with regulated industry stakeholders. Understanding of clinical systems, healthcare data, or analytical workflows. Exposure to data integration and platform transformation initiatives.
