The company is seeking a Senior Bookkeeper to manage the complete bookkeeping and financial administration function within a complex multi-company structure. This hands-on role requires an individual who is comfortable managing large transaction volumes, maintaining financial accuracy, and working closely with directors to support business operations. The successful candidate will oversee daily bookkeeping activities, reconcile multiple accounts, manage prepaid electricity transactions, support statutory compliance requirements, and prepare management reports that contribute to informed business decision-making. What You'll Do • Manage the full bookkeeping function using QuickBooks across multiple entities• Process and reconcile high-volume financial transactions• Administer prepaid electricity accounts for corporate clients and body corporates• Allocate transactions accurately between related entities• Manage financial records across group company structures• Oversee and maintain approximately 400 body corporate agreements• Liaise with meter reading service providers and external stakeholders• Manage light inventory and stock control functions• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports• Maintain the general ledger and ensure accurate financial records• Perform creditor and debtor reconciliations• Support VAT, payroll, and statutory compliance processes• Assist directors with financial reporting and operational requirements What You Bring • Proven experience as a Senior Bookkeeper or Financial Accountant• Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks is essential• Experience within a high-volume transaction environment• Solid understanding of bookkeeping principles and financial controls• Experience managing multiple entities and inter-company transactions• Strong reconciliation and reporting skills• Knowledge of VAT, payroll, and statutory compliance requirements• Experience within prepaid electricity, utilities, or energy-related industries is advantageous• Experience working with body corporates or property-related accounting is beneficial• Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities• Strong organisational skills and exceptional attention to detail• Professional maturity and confidence when engaging with directors and stakeholders What Success Looks Like • Accurate and timely processing of high-volume transactions• Well-maintained financial records across all entities• Effective management of prepaid electricity accounts and body corporate agreements• Timely completion of reconciliations and management reporting• Compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements• Strong relationships with service providers and stakeholders• Efficient support provided to directors and operational teams• Continuous improvement of financial administration processes
