Sales Assistant Position Reference: JHB -MB-1 The Sales Assistant position is available within a retail environment based in Stellenbosch. The successful candidate will be involved with the sales of rifles and optics. As the Sales Assistant, you will serve as the point of contact between the business and its prospects or clients, with a range of responsibilities including identifying and educating prospective customers while supporting existing clients with information and assistance related to products and services. Duties & Responsibilities Qualifications and Requirements: Matric Fully bilingual in English and Afrikaans Previous experience in sales Strong communication skills Customer satisfaction-oriented Punctuality Knowledge of products stocked in store Competency would be preferable Knowledge of guns and optics will be an advantage Daily Tasks and Activities: Present, promote, and sell products/services to existing and prospective customers. Achieve agreed-upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule. Suggest applicable and relevant upsells to help customers walk out the door with everything they need. Possess in-depth product knowledge and be able to conduct demos and relay objection handling. Organize, rotate, and stock shelves during each store visit.
