Composite Laminator (Manufacturing) Location: Centurion Position Overview The incumbent would be expected to manufacture Composite moulds and composite parts for the aviation industry to the required specification. The incumbent would be expected to manufacture composite parts from moulds using epoxy resins and wet layup techniques for the aerospace industry. The incumbent would work in small teams under the leadership of a workshop manager. Required Experience Experience in the aerospace composite manufacturing industry working with epoxy resins. The incumbent must be skilled in the use of hand tools. Capabilities The incumbent should be able to read and understand drawings. The incumbent must be able to accurately follow product manufacturing specifications and work instructions. Educational Requirements Grade 12. A minimum of 1-year relevant experience in the manufacturing environment. Formal training in basic machining principles. General Abilities Ability to read measuring equipment. Must demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills. Good interpersonal skills. Strong work ethic and the ability to work without constant supervision. Enthusiastic and energetic.
