Ensure timely execution of production schedules to meet delivery deadlines. Team Management Supervise bottom team staff. Train team members on machines to avoid uncertainty of no operator. Set team goals, monitor performance, and provide coaching or training as needed. Promote safety, quality, and continuous improvement. Machine and Equipment Oversight Ensure machines and equipment are well-maintained and operate at optimal efficiency. Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance with engineering/maintenance teams. Reduce unplanned downtime and improve overall equipment effectiveness (OEE). Quality Assurance Ensure all products meet internal and customer quality standards. Work closely with the QA/QC team to resolve quality issues. Reduce rework and scrap through root cause analysis and corrective action. Inventory and Materials Management Ensure raw materials, WIP (Work‑In‑Progress), and finished goods are properly managed to avoid production delays. Work with supply chain/procurement teams to avoid stockouts or excess inventory. Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) Compliance Ensure all operations comply with safety, environmental, and legal standards. Conduct safety audits, toolbox talks, and risk assessments. Reporting and KPIs Track and report on key production metrics (output, yield, downtime, OEE, etc.). Use data to inform decision‑making and performance improvement.
