A company that focuses on theft recovery, driver safety, and business optimization through its tracking technology and related services is seeking a Lead Network Engineer to design, implement, and maintain its network infrastructure. In this role, you will provide technical leadership and guidance, ensuring the network is secure, scalable, and high‑performing. You will be responsible for aligning the network strategy with business goals, fostering operational excellence, and ensuring systems are reliable and compliant with security standards. Responsibilities Network Management: Design, implement, and maintain secure and resilient network infrastructure (LAN, WAN, SD‑WAN, VPN, Wi‑Fi). Team Leadership: Provide day‑to‑day leadership, mentorship, and technical guidance to network engineers. Prepare documentation, allocate tasks, and oversee incident resolution. Security & Compliance: Implement and maintain network security controls, including firewall rules and segmentation. Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to address vulnerabilities, support audits, and monitor network security. Performance & Reporting: Track and report on key metrics such as network performance, uptime, and incident trends. Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and cost optimization. Collaboration: Work with cross‑functional teams and vendors to deliver projects on time and within budget. Maintain accurate documentation of network topology and assets. Governance: Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations such as ISO 27001, GDPR, and PCI‑DSS. Minimum Requirements A relevant diploma and IT networking and security certifications. Required: CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) or equivalent. Preferred: CCNP, Fortinet NSE, AWS/Azure Networking certifications, and ITIL Foundation. 5–8 years of hands‑on networking experience, including 1–2 years in a team lead or senior role. Strong knowledge of enterprise networking platforms such as Cisco, Juniper, and Fortinet. Proficiency in routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), switching, VLANs, and QoS. Experience with firewall configuration, cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP), SD‑WAN, VPN, and wireless technologies. Willingness to work extended hours and travel.
