As a Junior Financial Accountant, you will play a critical role in supporting operational efficiency, highlighting areas of cost improvement initiatives, and enabling client delivery through robust financial reporting, insight generation, and improved process design. Responsibilities: Responsible for tasks, processes or entities in the area of Financial Reporting which includes solving problems and response to ad hoc queries for assigned areas. Collaborate with internal teams and external client-facing teams to provide financial insight for operational restructuring and transformation programmes. Assist in the setup and maintenance of dashboards and reporting mechanisms. Support change initiatives with financial insights, helping to shape cost optimisation and workforce planning programmes. Work collaboratively to drive ideas/solutions with peers and managers which will improve Client and PwC’s efficiency. Developing close relationships with key stakeholders. Managing your own workload, including reporting on progress and issues. Developing the ability to be agile and support a range of client/projects. Be able to implement and adapt to new or changing processes quickly. Proactively build relationships with all team members within PwC including engagement with client teams as well as customers of our clients. Requirements to be met: As a Junior Financial Accountant of SATIC, you will need to meet the following requirements: 1 - 2 years experience in a similar role. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field preferred. Desirable: Certification or formal training in financial modelling, data analytics, or business intelligence tools. Experience with basic financial reporting and cost tracking. Exposure to working across teams or supporting process improvement is beneficial but not essential. Skills required: Strong data analytics capability – ability to interpret large volumes of financial data to generate meaningful insights. Familiarity with business intelligence tools such as PowerBI and Alteryx for dashboarding, automation, and reporting. Understanding of cost transformation levers such as procurement optimisation and workforce efficiency. Organised, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a high-paced and ambiguous environment.
