An exciting opportunity is available for a detail-oriented and driven Financial Accountant to join a growing organisation. This role is ideal for a professional who enjoys working across the full finance function, from transactional controls to financial reporting and compliance.The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining financial integrity, improving internal controls, managing statutory requirements, and supporting business operations across multiple entities within the group.This role is based in Boksburg, Johannesburg East. Key Responsibilities: Create and implement internal financial controls relating to transactional recording, payment scheduling, and approvals Manage the full accounting process through to financial statement preparation for smaller group companies Review monthly creditors reconciliations and payment schedules Review and authorise payments for release Oversee debtors processing including invoicing, credit notes, and collections Process monthly journals including interest, depreciation, and accruals Manage fixed assets and asset registers Monitor and manage cash flow requirements Handle incident report management and cost allocation processes Prepare and submit monthly VAT returns Liaise with SARS and manage disputes or related queries Review monthly payroll processes and submissions Job Experience and Skills Required: BCom Degree or similar qualification Completed articles Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting Ability to draft financial statements independently or with limited assistance Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills Bilingual in Afrikaans and English Apply now!
