Responsibilities Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports in compliance with relevant accounting standards. Manage month‑end and year‑end financial close processes efficiently. Ensure timely and accurate reconciliation of accounts, including bank reconciliations. Support budgeting and forecasting activities, providing valuable insights to aid decision‑making. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements. Assist in the preparation of financial statements and liaise with external auditors. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial reporting and operational efficiency. Provide support for ad hoc financial projects as required. Qualifications Qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA etc) with a university degree and a minimum of three years post‑qualification experience. Good knowledge of accounting software (ideally MS Business Central) and MS Office with advanced Excel skills. Experience of MS SharePoint, Power BI/Power Pivot would also be beneficial. Mauritian tax experience will be advantageous. Big six audit experience is essential. A professional, thorough approach to work with an emphasis on maintaining the highest standards. Independent and decisive, with problem‑solving aptitude. Hands‑on and "can do" approach. Investigative mentality and a strong commitment to accuracy.
