This position reports to the Divisional Buying Manager Responsibilities Supporting the division in all administrative functions linked to order processing and buy plans. Auditing availability, selection, and pricing of market best‑sellers and new releases on the site. Supporting merchandising checks: checking customer reviews, links, and newsletters. Managing customer queries and escalating as necessary. Overseeing day‑to‑day tasks such as managing stock levels, processing customer orders, handling stock classification, and addressing catalogue‑related queries. Resolving stock quality disputes and managing ad‑hoc issues related to stock, products, deliveries, and other retail operations. Collaborating with suppliers and internal stakeholders to drive the success of the retail category. Possessing excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the confidence to pick up the phone and engage directly with stakeholders. Being quick to react, proactive in identifying and resolving issues, and demonstrating a hands‑on approach to ensuring smooth operations and effective problem‑solving. Qualification & Experience Bachelor’s degree (Business Science or Commerce degree preferable). At least 1-year related retail/commerce experience. Competency in MS Office packages, particularly Excel. Retail buying/e‑commerce experience preferable but not an absolute requirement. Attributes Required Strong attention to detail. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Highly organised with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively. Solutions‑oriented with a proactive, can‑do attitude; self‑motivated and driven. Adaptable and comfortable with learning and using new systems. Fast learner with the ability to quickly adapt to new software packages. Willingness to learn new systems and expand knowledge in AI‑related technologies. Proficient in working with software tools such as Excel, Google Sheets, and Google Docs, with the ability to manage and navigate various digital platforms efficiently.
