Industrial Engineer Location: Modder Rivier, Northern Cape Closing Date: 10 June 2026 Responsibilities Design efficient production processes to eliminate waste and maximise resource use. Compile and manage allocated projects within the data and project department. Compile and distribute key statistics to the management team. Ensure each project is completed within the allocated budget and timeline. Identify possible projects in the processing environment. Continuously identify production needs to ensure effectiveness of production. Manage projects within the approved time frame and budget at Farm Foods (Modderriver and Christiana). Determine the feasibility of projects. Conduct operational impact studies and present new product ranges to the Farm Foods management team. Perform ergonomic studies of each department. Prepare project plans (Grant charts) during planning and after implementation. Compile the 1–5 Year Capex Plan. Lead special projects in the plant. Coordinate contractors assigned to capital projects. Maintain continuous liaison with internal departments, management, suppliers, and committees regarding production standards and quality aspects. Coordinate all role players in the introduction of a new product. Drive the Continuous Improvement Program (20 Keys), providing expert support and coordination of implementation with key leaders. Oversee progress on action plans and goal achievement matrices, providing guidance and facilitating corrective actions. Complete all allocated training interventions. Mentor and coach staff to ensure standards, processes, and practices. Stay current with legislation, technology, products, processes, and techniques by attending workshops, seminars, reading articles, and undergoing training, and informing relevant personnel. Perform any other duties required by management.
