Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS for SMEs Manage general ledger maintenance, reconciliations, and journal processing Perform bank reconciliations and assist with cash flow monitoring Review financial performance and provide detailed variance analysis Support budgeting and forecasting activities across the business Ensure compliance with tax regulations and statutory obligations Prepare and submit VAT returns and other regulatory submissions Assist with both internal and external audit requirements and maintain strong internal controls Review financial transactions to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and enhance efficiencies Supervise and support a finance team consisting of 4 staff members Work alongside the Financial Manager on operational and reporting related finance functions Skills & Experience: Completed articles or 1 to 3 years of relevant accounting experience Strong knowledge of financial reporting, reconciliations, and compliance processes Exposure to Sage Evolution or Sage Pastel would be advantageous Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail Confident communicator with a proactive and outgoing personality Ability to work effectively in a deadline driven environment Qualification: Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related qualification For more information connect with us on
