Job Description To ensure that vehicles are serviced and maintained according to the schedule and inspection check lists. Strong knowledge of heavy-duty trucks: Scania / Mercedes / UD / Volvo Emergency repairs on vehicles / equipment assess and prioritize emergency breakdowns. Own Tools are essential to their company standard Key Skills Technical Understanding Attention to Detail Dependability Thoroughness Verbal Communication Documentation Skills Inventory Control Job Knowledge Welding and cutting material if required, using arc welding, flame cutting or grinder equipment. Requirements Own Transport. Grade 12. Be willing to work overtime, standby and be available for call outs as and when required. Must have good people skills. Computer literacy would be an added advantage. Must be able to work unsupervised. Must have good knowledge on basic auto electrical and repairs. Must have experience on Tail lifts (Hydraulics). Working overtime and doing standby is compulsory. Must take responsibility for workmanship. Must comply to health and safety guidelines. Must be able to relocate if need.
